From Homosexuality to the Cults: Scourges, State Repression and History on a Loop
In 1960 the Mirguet amendment classed homosexuality among the social scourges, and an official repression followed that lasted until 1981. The CICNS sets that forgotten episode beside the 1995 Gest-Guyard report's use of the same word, and the 2004 description of cult membership as a pathology to be treated with or without consent.
